A thin, translucent adhesive film to connect materials.
Characteristics
The film is flexible and sticks very well to smooth surfaces, such as plastics, and reasonably well to wood. The foil sticks less well to rough surfaces, such as brick.
Applications
Double-sided adhesive foil is used, for example, to compose acrylic letters into logos and to attach them to smooth walls and furniture. The material is also often used in model construction to bond facades to a thicker substrate. Although the material can be laser cut separately, it is usually applied to another material before cutting.
