A budget alternative to PE foam
Characteristics
Polyether foam is known as mattress foam, but you can also cut shapes from it by laser. In some cases it can be an economical alternative to PE foam for (temporary) inlays of suitcases and boxes. However, there are a number of important differences with PE foam. It is less sturdy. It is lighter in weight. It is lighter in color (gray). It has open cells that allow it to absorb fluid. It is less suitable for detailed shapes
